Licence Condition
The licensee must undertake the feasibility stage design of works to collect the remaining No. 1 Nitric Acid Plant (NAP1) steam condensate sources and general plant effluent into a new effluent collection system that incorporates, where required, secondary containment. Upon completion of the design works, the licensee must provide written notification to the EPA's Regional Manager - Hunter at PO Box 488G, Newcastle NSW 2300 that details the designed works to be undertaken. Date for completion: 31 March 2014.
The licensee must undertake the feasibility stage design works of an upgrade of the No. 2 Nitric Acid Plant (NAP2) Neutralisation Pit to include a double contained pit which includes a leak detection system in the secondary containment section. Upon completion of the design works, the licensee must provide written notification to the EPA's Regional Manager - Hunter at PO Box 488G, Newcastle NSW 2300 that details the designed works to be undertaken. Date for completion: 31 March 2014.
